The wine route is a treasure to discover:

From these appellations, we invite you to discover the most beautiful and prestigious wine estates in the region:
  • Costières de Nîmes: located on the pebbles, gravel, and sands deposited by the Rhône, this AOP extends from Nîmes to the gates of the Camargue. It produces red, rosé, and white wines that pair well with local gastronomy.
  • Languedoc Sommières: this Appellation features blended red wines, with a minimum of two grape varieties including Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre.
  • Tavel (Côtes-du-Rhône Cru): A unique appellation in the Gard and even beyond, as it produces only rosé wine. The “king of rosés,” according to winemakers.
  • Lirac (Côtes-du-Rhône Cru): Located on the right bank of the Rhône in the Gard, it is among the elite crus of this part of the Rhône Valley.
  • Duché d’Uzès: A more recent AOP in the Gard, offering red, rosé, and white wines from limestone plateaus and a Mediterranean climate.
  • Clairette de Bellegarde: One of the southernmost appellations of the Rhône Valley, dedicated exclusively to the Clairette Blanche grape variety, on a very specific terroir.
